RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Role:
The AVP Salesforce Platform of International Operations (IO) will be responsible for leading, developing and monitoring all aspects of GM Financial's Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform from a technical aspect. You will be responsible for the architectural design associated with the Salesforce platform. This leader will manage a team of technically skilled individuals who develop code-based solutions within Salesforce's cloud-based platform such the code-based solution is required, because the platform does not provide out of the box administrative level functionality to meet business requirements.
In this role you will:
Function as Salesforce.com (SFDC) Technical Architect/Administrator/Developer
Create tools, products or enhancements to increase efficiency, profitability and volume of current company programs
Implement projects to carry out to execute on company initiatives and strategies
Develop process to integrate GM Financial's internal systems and other vendor systems with GM Financial' s SFDC systems
Coordinate with ITS to ensure enhancements do not affect systems or programs in production
Deliver projects within timeline to meet internal/external expectations
Coordinate with internal/external technical groups to monitor GM Financial's integration points into SFDC to include all messaging and processes associated with sending and receiving data to and from Salesforce
Manage prioritized projects amongst team members while providing guidance and motivation
Oversee SFDC change management by coordinating documentation. establishing and maintaining these processes within the department
Assist with planning future strategy based on current product results and market information
Architect and oversee implementation of scalable technologies such as MuleSoft and Heroku platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced working knowledge of reporting systems and languages to include SQL and SAS.
Must understand and embrace the principles of GM Financial. Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers.

Advanced analytical skills.

Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Required
5-7 years direct development experience using technologies applicable to the Salesforce.com platform
3-5 years managerial experience.
Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce App Builder preferred, not required.
