ervices training team is responsible for training all Funding Operations and Loan Services employees, new and existing. We also partner with the Canada Funding team when necessary to assist in training virtually new hires or when there is a major new Funding system rollout.
RESPONSIBILITIES
About The Role:
The Dealer Services Training Consultant will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for Dealer Services team members. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively train new and tenured team members and ensure consistent application of techniques and processes. The trainer will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, develop curricula, and measure training effectiveness.
In this role you will:
Consult with senior leadership to create training curricula that support company business strategies
Develop and deliver training content for Credit, Sales, and Loan Services, utilizing various training methodologies to ensure consistent application of techniques
Partner with business leaders and instructional design teams to design varied training materials and facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions
Provide on-the-job training and coaching, including sales process and product education, and training associated with new product launches
Analyze and measure the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes
Act as a knowledge base for all things related to dealer sales, credit, and loan services
Perform special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:
Advanced knowledge of communications principles and practices
Must have a good understanding of Dealer Services' operations
Must understand and embrace the principles of GM Financial
Working knowledge of underwriting and contract funding processes, policies, and guidelines
Strong group facilitation, interpersonal, and project management skills; ability to formulate action plans and timelines and execute plans within established deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present concepts and processes in an easy-to-understand manner to a diverse audience
Proficiency or demonstrated learning agility in developing and delivering training content for diverse audiences, with effective follow-up skills to track and monitor the impact of training
Ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers throughout the organization
Ability to work independently and as a highly functional team member
Strong PC skills and the ability to use appropriate software tools
Experience in developing training programs
Strong understanding of adult education processes and training methodologies
Strong analytical skills to measure training effectiveness and make data-driven decision
Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience preferred
3-5 years of ears of automotive or auto finance industry experience preferred
