Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA and Scarborough, ME.

Duties and Responsibilities
Set strategic direction. Collaborate to determine critical priorities, long-term goals and annual targets. Work in close partnership with Merchandising leadership, Sourcing leadership, Private Brand Leadership and AD Group.
Assess environmental and social issues on the farms and in production facilities where our products are made, prioritize areas for improvement and identify best practices to determine spec requirements.
Serve as ADUSA expert on complex matters that require subject matter expertise to avoid NPS and PR risk and help promote better practices that will earn customer trust in high quality, sustainable products.
Become a customer service focused team. Support 6 brands in making it easier for them to navigate these issues, understand the implications of their decisions and set strategic direction together.
Develop means to track and report progress against goals in partnership with internal systems as well as external NGO tools and validators.
Structure and lead relationships with key suppliers to focus on sustainability performance and improvement. Collaborate with suppliers on mutually beneficial initiatives.
Increase strong public image and brand awareness through media relations, social media, endorsements and outreach to key stakeholders.
Oversee 2 direct reports. Hire, train and develop associates
Qualifications
10+ years of Sustainability experience (or mix of Sustainability, Health and/or Environmental experience)
General business understanding of merchandising and vendor relations
Strong understanding of Private Brand sourcing highly preferred
Ability to interact and influence at the Executive level
Strong leadership skills with strategic focus
