    Position summary

    everal hundred suppliers. It will be imperative that this associate have ability to rapidly grasp the intricacies of the new DSD VIC and Preferred programs and the new ways of working in the new Supply Chain entity. They will be required to understand and leverage a variety of systems, provide ongoing interpretation of data and counsel our Vendor partners, Supply Chain, Merchandising and Operations teams. This individual will be a key point of contact for our supplier partners, Merchandising, Operations and Supply Chain teams, spanning all 5 Brands and therefore, must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written. The position will require a certain level of business maturity as they will be required to maneuver around all the complexities and obstacles that might exist.

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    Principle Duties & Responsibilities

    • Provide both reactive and proactive analysis of key data elements affiliated with the DSD processes

    • Leverage DSD VIC data to monitor and address Retail execution.

    • Leverage DSD VIC data to investigate Supplier VIC concerns

    • Leverage DSD VIC data to identify trends and opportunities and provide recommendations

    • Partner with Retail Operations and Merchandising providing statistical insight to measure results, drive efficiencies, assess supplier performance, in-stock conditions, sales and customer satisfaction

    • Support our efforts to drive change-management within our strategic partners through continuous improvement, implementing new processes and ensures these processes support the brand strategies and goals.

    • Provide Supplier support regarding alternative approaches to ordering, transporting, receiving and stocking,

    • Leverage the learnings from the Team, Suppliers and the Industry to drive "Best Practice" behavior with the brands and suppliers

    • Provide reporting to measure supplier performance against KPIs, perform analysis, and create period reporting to drive hold our suppliers accountable

    • Confirm or debunk assumptions, harness data and deliver impactful and actionable insights

    Basic Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree2-4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: CPG industry, Supply Chain Demand Management / Forecasting, Replenishment, Merchandising, Vendor Management, Category Management

    • High proficiency in Excel or other data analysis/mining software (MicroStrategy)

    • A firm understanding of the DSD supply chain flow of goods, from order conception to on shelf availability

    • A basic understanding of the different systems that do or can influence the DSD Supply Chain, including Forecasting, CAO, EDI, DSD Receiving, and associated store processes

    • Strong troubleshooting skills

    • Attention to Detail

    • Initiative and ability to self-manage

    • Ability to manage and influence others without formal authority
