As a Full Stack Engineer, you should be comfortable with developing front-end and/or back-end applications using different languages and development frameworks.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days in our Chicago office and 2 remote days. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design front-end and server-side solutions
Write APIs for our consumer-facing flows, whether for web or mobile
Develop automation testing suties to ensure correctness of the software and maintainability
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Write technical documentation
Work with implementation teams to automate and ensure standard methodologies on infrastructure deployments
Deliver solutions and systems: consistent, optimized, resilient, documented, secure
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
6+ years of experience building software solutions
Knowledgeable and experienced in multiple back-end languages (e.g, Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g Vue.js, React, Node.js, Nuxt.js)
Experience with databases (e.g PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
Experience and deep understanding of software design patterns
Experience with CI/CD and deep understanding of deployment processes
Experience with public clouds e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Cart/Checkout, and payment systems is a plus
Ability to grasp concepts quickly and implement learning fast
Passion for coding
Ability to effectively communicate your ideas and listen to others
Problem solving skills - not only technically, but also with competing visions from teammates and partners
Ability to lead by influence and drive projects independently
Works under general direction of managers and more senior team members.
Designs foundational technologies through software architecture
Makes sound business decisions regarding how technologies will be implemented.
Makes recommendations to management and is involved in the decision-making process.
Resolves work related issues and provide solutions on development issues for less experienced software engineers.
Work is reviewed regularly for technical soundness and accuracy.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Salary Range: $ 122,560 - $187,560
Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
