Your key responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification
5+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar positions
Demonstrable experience of Java and frameworks commonly used in Java projects
Work as a Senior Java Full-Stack Developer to contribute in various streams of implementation projects
Collaborate with agile team members to achieve project and client goals
Participation in design and test activities
Skills
5+ years of experience with web-based application creation in Java and Frontend
Highly proficient in web-based OOP
Experience deploying web applications on large cloud-based services provider e.g. Azure/AWS
Experience working with web services / APIs e.g. SOAP / REST
Solid knowledge in JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3 and responsive design
Knowledge of databases and SQL
Experience with React or Angular
Knowledge of Clean Code and Unit Testing
Experience with Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automated deployment
Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ, ELK Stack is an advantage.
Hands on experience working with microservices architecture
Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
Familiarity with common stacks
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
Work Environment
This is a Hybrid work model position with 3 days work from office per week
Alight requires all virtual interviews to be conducted on video.
