Your key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification

• 5+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar positions

• Demonstrable experience of Java and frameworks commonly used in Java projects

• Work as a Senior Java Full-Stack Developer to contribute in various streams of implementation projects

• Collaborate with agile team members to achieve project and client goals

• Participation in design and test activities

Skills

• 5+ years of experience with web-based application creation in Java and Frontend

• Highly proficient in web-based OOP

• Experience deploying web applications on large cloud-based services provider e.g. Azure/AWS

• Experience working with web services / APIs e.g. SOAP / REST

• Solid knowledge in JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3 and responsive design

• Knowledge of databases and SQL

• Experience with React or Angular

• Knowledge of Clean Code and Unit Testing

• Experience with Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automated deployment

• Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ, ELK Stack is an advantage.

• Hands on experience working with microservices architecture

• Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with common stacks

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.

Work Environment

This is a Hybrid work model position with 3 days work from office per week

Alight requires all virtual interviews to be conducted on video.
