We are seeking a Bodily Injury Adjuster with 2+ years of attorney represented bodily injury (BI) experience to join our team! While litigation experience is not required, this role will manage a range of claims from soft tissue to more complex matters, with claim values up to $100k or less. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively evaluate and negotiate claims. Key Responsibilities
Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations and decision making process
Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes
Manages, researches, and resolves complex and occasionally highly complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
Researches, responds to, or participates in Department of Insurance complaints or investigations
Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with business unit best practices
Sets initial reserve, updates reserve, documents rationale and claim summary notes
Determines and explains minimum coverage limits in complex and occasionally highly complex claims involving single or multiple claimants, also determines claim value
Reviews medical reports in preparation for claims settlement evaluation

Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is:
BI Cons I: $50,000 - $74,120
BI Cons II: $50,700 - $78,570
BI Sr Cons I: $62,800 - $99,190
And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
