    Position summary

    onships to establish Alteryx as the preferred analytics platform within our customers, as well as create new business opportunities. This role manages all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, lead management, qualification, evaluation, negotiation, close and account care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Define and execute account/territory plans and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities within the assigned territory of enterprise accounts, a combination of customers and prospects

    • Run demand generation campaigns; Develop and manage sales pipeline - prospect and assess new sales potential while moving several transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline

    • Manage and track customer and transactional information in Salesforce

    • Coordinate and collaborate with resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering

    • Connect prospect's business objectives (both functional and corporate) with Alteryx solutions. Deploy a customer-centric approach in understanding how Alteryx can do so

    • Nurture and expand the company's relationship within customer accounts

    • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast to management on a weekly basis

    • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products

    • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff

    • Participate in team building and company‐growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care.

    • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts.

    • Ability to work in a high energy, fast‐paced sales environment

    • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools

    Qualifications:

    • Min 5 years quota-carrying sales experience, including prospecting and dealing with complex sales cycles generating six figure deals working in a technology/software/SaaS company in the Italian market

    • Experience with software Analytics, Data, Database's, Predictive Modelling, or Business Intelligence preferred.

    • Consistent over achievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory

    • Ability to generate new logo accounts and increase sales volume of existing customers

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

    • Fluency in English and Italian in writing and speech
