Lead Software Engineer

The individual may serve as an in-house expert on specific technologies or within the job function area, demonstrating a complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts in a specialized field, with broad knowledge of the professional field and related functions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, setting technical direction and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to decipher project requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Architect, design, and implement complex software systems using [Specify relevant technologies, e.g., Java, Python, Node.js].

• Conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold coding standards, best practices, and system performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Senior Engineer or in a similar technical leadership role.

• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks.

• Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of making strategic technical decisions.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies.

• Previous experience managing and leading high-performing software engineering teams.
