About The Role:
The Product Analyst will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive insights and strategic decisions as part of the Product Strategy Group. This role is essential for shaping product strategy and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. The role demands a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and experience in a SaaS organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed analysis of product usage/behaviour data to derive insights and inform product strategy.
Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx Designer Desktop, and Amplitude.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and reports.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business decisions and product improvements.
Ensure data quality and integrity across various sources and platforms.
Skills and Competencies:
Advanced proficiency in creating and managing dashboards/reports using platforms like Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.
Experience with product analytics and user behaviour tracking tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.
Proficiency in managing and querying large datasets using SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc
Experience in data preparation, blending, and advanced analytics. Experience in Alteryx Designer will be added advantage.
Understanding of SaaS business models and product lifecycle would be advantage.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a SaaS organization.
