Responsibilities:
• Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters.
• Will champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity.
• May assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job.
• Incumbents provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in his/her area of specialization.
• Generally free to determine work priorities based on general direction from managers.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of directly related experience
• Ability to balance, prioritize multiple projects, and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong knowledge/experience of Kubernetes and Helm is a must
• Strong knowledge of Git + CI/CD (Gitlab preferred)
• Significant experience with major cloud provider tooling (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Significant experience with VM tooling (Packer, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Pulumi)
• General programming/scripting skills (e.g. Python, Go Lang, Node.js + Express.js, TypeScript)
• Agile / Lean
Valued Skills:
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• The ability to translate compliance requirements to technical controls
• Experience with a cloud container service (EKS, AKS, GKE)
• A strong desire to work with new and upcoming technologies
• Build and maintain highly available systems
• Open for providing mentorship to other team members
