    Associate Software Engineer

    What you will do

This vital role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications and backend services using modern technologies. You will contribute to the development of MDM solutions that support data consistency, governance, and integration across the enterprise.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Develop responsive front-end interfaces using ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, and Axios.

    • Write clean, modular, and testable code using JavaScript/TypeScript.

    • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and Django REST Framework, FastAPI.

    • Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data modeling and querying.

    • Implement unit and integration tests using Jest to ensure code quality.

    • Use PySpark for data transformation and processing tasks.

    • Deploy and manage applications using NGINX and Gunicorn.

    • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support MDM workflows and integrations.

    • Participate in agile development practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree and 2 to 6 years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Functional Skills:

    Must-Have Skills:

    • Proficiency in ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, Axios, and JavaScript/TypeScript

    • Strong backend development skills using Python and Django REST Framework, FastAPI

    • Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL, OOPS knowledge

    • Hands-on experience with PySpark for data processing

    • Familiarity with NGINX and Gunicorn for application deployment

    • Experience writing unit tests using Jest

    • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration

    • Exposure to agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

    Good-to-Have Skills:

    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

    • Exposure to CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins

    • Familiarity with MDM concepts and data governance

    • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

    • Prior experience in Pharma/Life Sciences domain

    Professional Certifications:

    • Any relevant certification in Full Stack Development, Python, Databases, or Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure)

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical abilities to assess and improve master data processes and solutions.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical collaborators.

    • Effective problem-solving skills to address data-related issues and implement scalable solutions.

    • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
