    What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role the Senior Manager, Coverage, Pricing & Coverage is a key member of the U.S. Value & Access organization responsible for developing and completing pricing, payer coverage, and contracting strategies to achieve and maintain access goals. This individual will engage with subject matter experts and business unit leadership while leading quantitative and qualitative pricing & contracting analyses to support the overall access strategy for UPLIZNA or TEPEZZA supporting the Rare Disease Business Unit (RDBU). This unique opportunity allows for a Senior Manager to work at a big picture level, across the entire coverage, pricing, and access landscape.

The Senior Manager will gather, analyze and synthesize cross-functional information across a variety of sources to support scenario-planning and customer insight development. This role will also be responsible for working with finance to estimate the overall contracting impact on sales volume goals, discount rates, gross to net impact, and long-term planning. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of payer strategy, tools and resources to support value messaging for payers and access education for HCPs and staff. This role interacts cross functionally with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders and requires strong communication skills. The Senior Manager will work closely with our field-based Commercial Market Access (MAT) and Medical (MVAD) teams to engage customers and ensure appropriate and strong coverage or utilization management is in place for their product.

This role will require a strong foundation in the U.S. healthcare market and is a good avenue to many future US Value & Access roles. Amgen has strong training, education, and mentoring programs to ensure staff are successful.
