    MEDIA ANALYTICS MANAGER

    What you will do

    As a Media Analytics Manager within the Commercial Data & Analytics (CD&A) organization, you will lead the measurement and performance tracking of paid media efforts across priority brands. You will operate at the intersection of data analytics, brand strategy, and media execution, playing a strategic leadership role in ensuring our media investments deliver measurable value aligned with Amgen's commercial goals.

    This role is based in Lisbon and reports into the Customer Data & Analytics function. It requires frequent collaboration with brand leads, Global Customer Capabilities (GCC), and external media agencies. You will guide the development of media KPIs, oversee dashboarding/reporting strategies, and drive analytics that directly inform ways to optimize media and the company's strategic imperatives.

    Other responsibilities will include:

    • Lead media analytics planning and performance reporting for priority brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic commercial objectives.

    • Serve as the primary analytics liaison between Lisbon-based teams, brand leads, the Global Commercial Capabilities (GCC) group, and external media agency partners.

    • Develop, enhance, and manage media performance dashboards and storytelling presentations to enable executive-level decision-making.

    • Partner with agencies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of campaign data, while identifying key trends and insights across paid channels (e.g., display, social, search, video).

    • Proactively translate campaign performance into business-relevant insights, enabling brand teams to adjust tactics and optimize return on investment.

    • Lead cross-functional alignment on KPI frameworks, reporting governance, and measurement best practices.

    • Act as a quality control owner for campaign data integrity and analytics deliverables.

    • Supervise junior analytics staff and contribute to capability-building within the Lisbon ACCP.

    • Support quarterly and ad hoc brand performance readouts and global reporting cycles.

    • Maintain compliance with data privacy, regulatory and legal requirements in all reporting and measurement activities.

    What we expect of you

    Our ideal candidate is a team player with customer focus. He/she is problem solving and result oriented and has time and process management skills and can compile data.

    Proven experience and skills needed:

    • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in media analytics, digital marketing measurement, or commercial analytics.

    • OR Master's degree and 5 years of experience in a quantitative field.

    • OR Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience in a quantitative field.

    • University Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, healthcare or related field.

    • Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical media strategies, marketing mix modeling, and KPI tracking.

    • Proven track record managing agency partners, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including senior brand leadership.

    • Familiar with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, DV360, Meta Ads Manager).

    • Experience with syndicated datasets and platforms such as Nielsen, IQVIA, or Veeva.

    • Exceptional data storytelling, communication, and executive presentation skills.

    • Ability to lead process improvement and establish standard operating procedures for analytics delivery.

    • Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and dashboard automation frameworks.
