    Process Development Associate Scientist - Laboratory

    What you will do

In this vital role you will serve as a laboratory-based scientist responsible for performing analytical testing to support method lifecycle management, process development initiatives, and investigative studies. The Process Development Associate Scientist leverages scientific expertise to drive data-informed decisions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform analytical assays (e.g., HPLC, UV-Vis, immunoassays) to support process method lifecycle activities, projects and investigations.

    • Analyze and interpret experimental data and document experimental results.

    • Apply scientific principles to troubleshoot technical challenges.

    • Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to support project goals and timelines.

    • Contribute to drafting technical reports and presenting findings.

    • Monitor or follow established experimental design and protocols and perform routine tasks and studies to acquire reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision

    • Contribute to internal reports, presentations, regulatory documents, invention disclosure submissions and/or patents

    • Participate in department wide support efforts such as safety, compliance and operational excellence

    • May train staff

    Basic Qualifications:
    Master's degree and 1 years of Laboratory Operations experience
    OR
    Bachelor's degree and 3 years of Laboratory Operations experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Educational Background in Life Sciences

    • Experience working in a GMP regulated environment within the Biotech/Pharma industry in a Process Development and/or Laboratory role

    • Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the execution of analytical techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, Immunoassay, and Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) among others.

    • • Excellent leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills
