mation is visualized, managed, and used on the shopfloor.
Today, our planning & production teams rely on an internal tool to track production orders, room allocation, routing logic, and operational exceptions. The tool works - but it can be smarter, clearer, and more insightful.
And that's where you come in.
Your mission
You will help enhance an existing production planning and visibility dashboard by:
Mapping current production & planning processes
Identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and missing logic
Supporting the integration of room allocation, order routing, and exception handling
Analyzing production data to define improvement opportunities
Translating operational insights into practical, data-driven enhancements
Working with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and Engineering stakeholders
This is a chance to blend data, operations, and problem-solving - and make a visible impact in a real, regulated manufacturing environment.
Deliverables
During your internship, you will:
✅ Map the current-state planning process
✅ Analyze production & planning datasets
✅ Identify gaps in logic, visibility, and usability
✅ Propose and document improvement recommendations
✅ Support enhancements to the planning dashboard
✅ Present a final report & recommendations to stakeholders
Your work will directly contribute to a fully functioning and integrated production planning dashboard used by operational teams across the site.
