    Position summary

    As a Scrum Master, you'll work at the intersection of science, data, and innovation. You'll collaborate with world-class experts across domains to build high-impact digital solutions that accelerate research, streamline operations, and empower better patient outcomes.

    The Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst is a leader and coach who plays the scrum master role by facilitating team events, processes, and supporting teams in delivering value. The role involves facilitating communication and collaboration among teams that are largely based in our regional teams concentrated in Europe and JAPAC, ensuring alignment with the program vision, managing risks and dependencies, and driving relentless improvement.

    • Lead product delivery using Agile/SAFe frameworks, facilitating key events (e.g., PI planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to drive collaboration and delivery maturity.

    • Align strategy and execution by working closely with Product Owners, Solution Management, and stakeholders.

    • Identify business needs, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams.

    • Promote continuous improvement and innovation within teams, supporting Agile best practices and providing guidance to RTEs, Scrum Masters, and Product Managers.

    • Ensure transparency by monitoring progress and aligning with business outcomes and solution goals.

    • Doctorate Degree OR

    • Master's degree with 4 - 6 years of experience in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR

    • Bachelor's degree with 6 - 8 years of experience in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR

    • Diploma with 10 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field

    • A passion for applying technology to make a real-world impact.

    • Fluency in English.

    Must-Have Skills:

    • Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks, with hands-on experience using Jira, Confluence, and Jira Align.

    • Skilled in guiding Agile teams, facilitating events, and ensuring alignment with SAFe principles.

    • Strong problem-solving mindset, data-driven approach, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

    Nice to Have Skills:

    • Knowledge of DevOps, test automation, and experience in workshop facilitation and Agile training.

    • Fast learner with leadership potential in data and analytics processes.

    Certifications:

    • SAFe Scrum Master and/or SAFe RTE certification (preferred).

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong team orientation, project/people management, and ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
