Responsibilities:
Drive Business Performance, Ensure Compliance, and Execute Supply
Partner with AXP Hubs to drive AXP business performance through the development and delivery of robust metrics and analysis of key performance drivers
Support the development and execution of cross-functional business reviews with senior leadership
Ensure regulatory and procedural compliance through management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), development of detailed guiding documents, and alignment with corporate training requirements
Proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance existing processes through automation and digital solutions
Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives (from design through implementation) to advance AXP business operations; benchmark internally and externally to adopt industry best practices
Develop and maintain a rolling three-year roadmap of process improvement initiatives with clearly defined deliverables and timelines
Ensure operational executional excellence across service purchase order management, invoicing, planning, shipping, and logistics activities
Deliver executional aspects for the AXP organization including but not limited to SPO creation and maintenance, ERP inventory management, and shipping logistics for product and product samples
Maintain consistent and effective communication with AXP leadership to support global business needs
Mentor and Develop Talent
In close partnership with the Director of Planning and AXP, mature the vision for the AXP team at Amgen India
Align site objectives with functional goals of Global Supply Chain and External Supply and strategic goals of Amgen
Develop a pool of supply chain talent (Practitioners)
Provide coaching and opportunities for staff to grow
Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging among staff, peers and stakeholders
Footprint / Scope of Responsibility
Provide overall accountability for the AXP support team, overseeing business performance, compliance, digital capabilities, and supply planning execution.
Own and manage key business metrics, resource modeling, and workload drivers to ensure effective capacity planning and operational performance.
Ensure all processes are executed in full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable corporate and regulatory requirements.
Lead and ensure consistent execution of supply planning operational requirements in alignment with business objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 5 years of Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Operations experience
Or
Master's degree and 12 years of Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Operations experience
Or
Bachelor's degree and 15 years of Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Operations experience
Or
Associate's degree and 17 years of Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Operations experience
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years' experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing digital solutions to enhance planning and supply chain operations.
