Senior R&D Engineer (C++, Python, Javascript)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintaining, extending, and supporting the public APIs of the Ansys Mechanical product.

• Triaging, diagnosing, and resolving customer-reported defects across the API surface.

• Working closely with internal product teams and external API consumers to understand needs and ship improvements.

• Writing unit tests and contributing to the long-term health of the codebase.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar fiel d.

• 3 to 5 yrs of Strong C++ proficiency is required.

• Proficiency in scripting languages, especiallyJavaScript and Python, for rapid prototyping and workflow automation.

• Strong analytical and algorithmic problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable and efficient solutions.

• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code optimization in complex software systems.

• Familiarity with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, and GitHub.

• C# experience is a plus.
