    Key Program Facts:

    • Program Length: 4 months (January to April 2026)

    • Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

    • Working Model: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in-office)

    • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

    • Start Date: Spring 2026 (January to April 2026)

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Work alongside Ansys SPDM software developers during the design, implementation and verification process for new features.

    • Contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of software features using object-oriented programming languages.

    • Investigate and correct defects in production code to ensure reliability and performance.

    • Develop unit and regression tests for newly developed features to maintain code quality.

    What You'll Need:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical degree.

    • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and planning to return to university after the completion of the internship rotation.

    • Basic understanding of web UI technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Angular, React or related frameworks).

    • Basic understanding of at least one object-oriented programming language (C++, C#, Java).

    • Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new concepts.

    • Clear verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

    Salary Information:

    The base salary range across Canada for this role is between $25.00-$35.00 CAD per hour. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details upon request.
