This role is within the EDS segment, and you will be joining that segment as it becomes its own entity, with a rich heritage and proven track record as a global leader in low and high voltage power and signal distribution systems. YOUR ROLE:
Design, assemble, and commission electrical test equipment for wiring harness validation
Interpret customer specifications and technical drawings to align testing systems with requirements
Standardize and deploy testing processes across EMEA production sites
Configure and troubleshoot test setups (I/O boards, pneumatics, sensors, automation interfaces)
Monitor and improve test system performance, reliability, and compliance
Document test procedures, calibration processes, and operating instructions
Train local factory teams on test system use, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards
Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and automotive OEM customers
Travel across the EMEA region to support factory implementations, issue resolution, and optimizations
YOUR BACKGROUND:
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or process test engineering role in an automotive industry
Hands-on experience with electrical testing systems for automotive wiring harnesses is highly preferred
Proficiency in:
Strong documentation and analytical skills (Excel, procedures, calibration)
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Comfortable with up to 60% travel across EMEA
