YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Developer to join our team. In this role, you will enhance and maintain our custom Oracle Enterprise Database ecosystem, focusing on PL/SQL development, Oracle Forms, ASP, WebLogic, Shell Scripts, Linux Cron, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-quality solutions

• Support and optimize legacy software applications to improve performance and functionality

• Modernize legacy applications to align with current technologies

• Present technical concepts and solutions to team members and technical leaders

• Evaluate alternatives and create detailed technical programming specifications

• Follow a structured development life cycle for new projects and enhancements

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful solutions

• Test, debug, and troubleshoot software issues

• Communicate effectively and meet project timelines

• Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in development

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Experience with Oracle Database required

• Experience with PL/SQL

• Experience with Oracle Forms; WebLogic is a plus

• Experience with ASP or comparable web application technology

• Knowledge of Linux task scheduling using Cron and Shell Scripts

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or comparable development management technology

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Experience in a large manufacturing environment, automotive preferred

• Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI

• Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
