    YOUR BACKGROUND

    Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

    Risk Management & Resiliency Strategy

    • Develop/lead global supply chain resiliency roadmap, aligned with corporate and customer needs.

    • Conduct proactive risk assessments across tiered suppliers, logistics, and geopolitical exposures.

    • Create scenario plans, playbooks for disruptions (e.g., geopolitical, material shortages, natural disasters).

    • Monitor macroeconomic trends and regulatory shifts impacting the supply base.

    Regionalization & Dual Sourcing

    • Drive regional sourcing strategies to reduce overreliance on high-risk geographies (e.g., China+1).

    • Partner with category and supplier quality teams to qualify alternative suppliers and facilities.

    • Lead dual/multi-sourcing initiatives for critical components and sub-assemblies.

    Digital Risk Visibility & Analytics

    • Implement and leverage digital tools for real-time supplier risk dashboards and predictive analytics.

    • Collaborate with IT, digital transformation teams to enhance supply chain visibility (e.g., Tier 2+ suppliers).

    Supplier Collaboration & Governance

    • Engage key suppliers in business continuity planning and risk-sharing agreements.

    • Establish supplier risk KPIs and scorecards; co-develop mitigation plans.

    • Partner with Supplier Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to embed resiliency into product launches.

    Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Act as the central point of contact for all resiliency planning activities across procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and finance.

    • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and customers on risk posture and recovery plans.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).

    • 7+ years of experience in automotive supply chain, with at least 3 years in a global or regional role focused on risk or resiliency.

    • Deep understanding of automotive wire harness supply chain challenges and supplier landscapes.

    • Proven experience with supplier risk tools, business continuity planning, and dual-sourcing strategies.

    • Strong data analysis, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.

    • Ability to travel globally (~20%).

    • Preferred Attributes:

    • Familiarity with industry standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 28000, and TISAX.

    • Experience working with geopolitical risk intelligence or digital visibility platforms (e.g., Resilinc, Everstream).

    • Six Sigma, APICS, or risk management certification is a plus.
