    Position summary

    ating safety risks and implementing safety programs.

    • Development and implementation of programs and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local occupational safety standards and ASML Corporate requirements.

    • Conduct compliance audits and guide teams with implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance.

    • Conduct risk assessments such as hazard assessments, ergonomic assessments, etc. as needed to reduce workplace injuries.

    • Lead safety incident investigations, work with key stakeholders to develop root cause analysis, and identify corrective actions.

    • Project management and coordinate implementation of actions which drive continuous improvement. Verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of action plans.

    • Support Hazardous Substances Management Program (new chemical approval, SDS updates, quarterly audits, exposure calculations, in-house hazardous chemical container labeling).

    • Create Toolbox Talks and informational presentations and effectively deliver to operational teams you will support.

    • Perform GEMBA walks (behavioral safety observations) in partnership with operational teams.

    • Be a key influencer to improve overall safety culture.

    • Data collection and analysis.

    • Routine internal reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual updates).

    • Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with ASML operations.

    • Other relevant duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • Experienced EHS Specialist (at least Bachelor degree) with working knowledge of the EHS function and the products and services of the business supported and with profound knowledge of the theoretical background.

    • Ability to work in a dynamic operational business environment.

    • Customer focus (internal or external).

    • Collaborates in a positive and efficient manner.

    • Communicates effectively to stakeholders; stays friendly at all times; provides constructive feedback and listens carefully to any feedback given.

    • Drives results to ensure EHS improvements at own location/ factory.

    Skills:

    • Key EHS processes (e.g. Incident Management, Compliance Management, JSA/Risk Management, Inspections/ Audits, Sustainability Reporting)

    • Executes existing EHS processes.

    • Ensuring a high quality of EHS advice.

    • Technical competence areas (e.g. Laser Safety, Electrical Safety, Radiation, Hazardous Materials, Ergonomics, Waste, Energy, CO2 emissions, Life Cycle Assessments)

    • Shares knowledge on technical competence areas in an operational working environment.

    • EHS data analysis & improvements

    • Responsible for MOP data for factory/ location.

    • Ensures data completeness in myEHS.

    • Uses reporting dashboards in myEHS.

    • Enhance EHS culture & communication

    • Supports the improvement of the EHS culture within own factory/ location

    • Supports sector EHS culture improvement initiatives.

    • Supports in drafting EHS communication material.

    The current base annual hourly range for this role is currently $30.11-$50.18. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
