Maintain detailed records of system designs, performance data, maintenance activities, and project updates.
Prepare reports and presentations for management, highlighting system performance and improvement opportunities.
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of experience in facilities engineering with a focus on mechanical systems in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
Strong expertise in HVAC, DI water, process water, chillers, boilers, and heat exchangers.
Experience with gas and liquid distribution systems, including piping, valves, and control systems.
Skills
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Experience in high-tech manufacturing, such as semiconductor or pharmaceutical industries.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, ASHRAE).
