Roles and responsibilities
The main responsibility of the Manufacturing Contamination Control Engineer is to assist in Manufacturing process evaluations and to deliver structural improvement projects that reduce the number of contamination-causing activities and sources. The following responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
30% in Cleanroom monitoring parts, processes, and cleanroom facility
30% Spent with Manufacturing Engineering on process improvements and results
30% Spent documenting results and writing guidelines
5% Spent with Design Engineering on material design changes and best practices
5% Spent in meetings
Education and experience
Min of Bachelors degree or Masters (preferred) in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related Engineering studies.
3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience in running controlled experiments.
Previous hands-on experience using test equipment.
Experience using statistical process control for the purpose of evaluating trends in data.
Experience evaluating or researching components for wear and tear (and material transfer).
The candidate needs to be self-motivated and to work independently on specific tasks.
Also, the candidate must work well in a dynamic environment and be a good team player.
The candidate must have good communication skills.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
