Education and experience
BS degree - Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Material Science, Ceramic/Glass Science, or related field.
10 or more years experience in optical manufacturing of either plano or spherical optics.
3 or more years experience managing engineers in a manufacturing environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to teach and mentor less experienced colleagues.
Innovation and problem solving.
Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
Solid SPC and data analysis skills.
Strong knowledge of optical materials (glass, crystal, ceramic), optical fabrication, and optical surface metrology.
Detail oriented and data driven.
Experience with CNC machining processes.
Other information
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
