    As part of Atlassian's transformative journey, this role is integral to launching products that redefine our expanding portfolio and deliver enhanced customer value. As a business we recognize the need to be more analytically rigorous at determining where we focus our resources in order to maximize financial outcomes and to best improve the customer experience. This role will be at the forefront of determining which products, features, and initiatives will have the greatest impact for Atlassian and its customers. This work will ensure our products not only meet market demands but also accelerate to Atlassian's future growth trajectory by improving prioritization and resource allocation.

    Some of your responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with operations, sales, and other stakeholders to support product launches by developing analytics to facilitate data driven decision making.

    • Pre-Launch Analysis**:** work closely with the R&D team during the ideation and planning stages to assess potential impact determining anticipated three-year ARR and key performance indicators. This preparation sets the groundwork for a successful product launch by defining financial goals, strategic expectations, and will be the basis for prioritization.

    • Post-Launch Analysis: track product performance regularly to evaluate its success against revenue targets and KPIs. This ongoing assessment creates a feedback loop with R&D for continuous improvement. The insights gained help refine future product strategies and ensure alignment with initial projections.

    • Support the development and implementation of consumption-based pricing models and product bundling strategies.

    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide insights into key performance indicators and strategic priorities.

    Skills and requirements:

    • Experience: 7+ years in business strategy, finance, analytics, or consulting, OR 5+ years in sales strategy, operations, or analytics.

    • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Excel, with the capability to conduct complex data analysis and model forecasting.

    • Strategic Problem Solving: Ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems, derive insights from data, and effectively communicate with senior leadership.

    • Influential Communication: Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence various organizational functions at all levels.

    • Product Expertise: Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and market positioning. Ability to assess product-market fit, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and identify opportunities for product improvement based on market trends and customer feedback.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively with R&D, sales, and operations to align strategic goals and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.

    Compensation

    At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

    Zone A: $149,400 - $195,050

    Zone B: $135,000 - $176,250

    Zone C: $124,200 - $162,150

    This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
