    Position summary

    cident response, ensuring Atlassian Cloud remains the trusted platform for organizations with complex and evolving security needs. In addition to your direct management, you will collaborate with teams working on adjacent features, supporting platform security, compliance, and trust, and ensure alignment of vision, strategy, investment, and execution.

    *Candidates in PST time zone are preferred.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Setting and communicating a compelling vision and strategy for Atlassian Guard Premium.

    • Leading and mentoring a team of product managers, fostering a culture of customer obsession, innovation, and operational excellence.

    • Partnering with engineering, design, security, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-impact features on time and at scale.

    • Engaging with customers, especially in regulated and high-security industries, to deeply understand their needs and translate them into product priorities.

    • Driving adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth for Guard Premium.

    • Ensuring Atlassian Guard Premium stays ahead of the evolving security landscape and compliance requirements.

    • Driving innovation in how AI supports information protection, and how information protection needs to support AI adoption in the enterprise.

    Requirements

    • 15+ years of experience in product management space.

    • Deep expertise in cloud security, SaaS platforms, and enterprise customer needs.

    • Proven experience leading product teams in security, compliance, or related domains.

    • Strong understanding of identity and access management, data protection, threat detection, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).

    • Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, execution, and measurable business outcomes.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

    Compensation

    At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

    Zone A: $224,100 - $292,575

    Zone B: $202,500 - $264,375

    Zone C: $186,300 - $243,225

    This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
