A DAY IN THE LIFE of a Life Specialist
The Auto Club Group is seeking Life Insurance Specialists who can generate new sales, retain existing members and grow ACG's overall book of business through our multiple product offerings. You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Groups 14+ million members.
Develop leads and prospects for the purpose of conducting fact finding interviews to determine needs for coverage
Prepare proposals, and conduct closing interviews for Life and Health Insurance sales
Complete appropriate applications and forms and follows internal processing procedures to ensure transactions are handled in accordance with company policies and practices
Work collaboratively with others in the Branch to reach business goals, maximize leads, sales opportunities and take advantage of cross-sell opportunities
Engage in market-based interactions, at business establishments and other convenient locations, to solicit new business, create and expand business networks and build rapport critical to establishing customer satisfaction, loyalty and affinity to the AAA brand
Assist Underwriting and Brokerage Departments in satisfying requirements
Respond to customer inquiries and problems and ensure sound-sales practices are used
Prepare reports documenting prospecting and sales activities and maintains specified production standards and persistency levels for Life and Health insurance

A base salary of $25,000 plus uncapped commissions
Average 1st year earnings $50,000+
Average 2nd year+ earnings $70,000+

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO
Required Qualifications:
Current Life Insurance Sales license
Valid driver's license - with satisfactory MVR
Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Work experience
2+ years' experience with a proven record of successfully soliciting and selling life insurance products
Successful candidates will possess:
Track record of success with meeting and/or exceeding sales goals
Strong sales skills with a history of effectively developing, tracking, following up on and closing leads
Advanced consultative selling techniques utilizing thorough product knowledge
Strong phone sales and prospecting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong customer focus
Ability to provide a high level of member-focused service
Work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Life & Annuity products and services
Work Environment
This position is classified as Outside Sales exempt and includes outside sales engagement in market-based interactions, at business establishments and other convenient locations, to solicit new business, create and expand business networks and build rapport critical to establishing customer satisfaction, loyalty and affinity to the AAA brand. Employees will also service ACG members in-person and their assigned work location is at an ACG branch facility.
