You'll work with a talented team of Experience Designers and Experience Architects, as well as stakeholders from Product Management, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Content Development, and Quality Assurance, to create compelling experiences that help our customers solve their most critical design and manufacturing problems. Responsibilities
Communicate customer requirements through storytelling, interactive prototypes and detailed visual/functional design specifications
Lead designs and optimize broad-based content, products, services and systems based on strong understanding of both experience objectives and needs throughout the customer journey.
Look beyond immediate experience challenges to understand how solutions fit into a larger ecosystem, across channels, touchpoints and platforms
Mentor other designers, build effective working relationships with business partnerships, and leads initiatives. Synthesizes feedback and requirements, extends and creates net new patterns and concepts, and advocates for elegant customer-focused solutions.
Facilitate and moderate customer research in 1-on-1and group settings to gain insights to inform better business and design decisions.
Partner with Product Management, Development, Experience Design colleagues and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute on project work and to ensure experience alignment.
Maintain familiarity with other Autodesk products as well as competitive products to ensure viability with proposed solutions.
Leverage AI ecosystem enhance productivity and effeciency in delivering experiences.
Plan and conduct user research and usability testing independently
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years relevant commercial experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Current portfolio of commercial UX project work
Experience designing for SAAS and AI solutions Experience working independently and collaboratively in hybrid or distributed environments
Demonstrated project leadership and peer support or mentorship
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction design
Experience within the fields of Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
Experience with 3D design/engineering/manufacturing software (Solidworks, Inventor, Pro/Engineer, etc)
