    Position summary

    This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Cloud & Data Specialists and offers flexibility with hybrid or remote options within Germany; travel is expected.

    Responsibilities

    • Solution Storytelling & Value Messaging. Articulate Autodesk's value proposition with clarity-linking our solutions to specific customer pain points through tailored ROI, TCO, and NPV analyses. Deliver compelling customer value outcomes and participate in executive-level discussions to shape decision-making.

    • Opportunity Development & Engagement. Identify and qualify new opportunities within Germany's Mid-Market manufacturing sector through whitespace analysis, prospecting, and lead nurturing. Translate customer business goals into actionable plans and solution opportunities, leveraging Autodesk's cloud-based PLM/PDM platform.

    • Strategic Sales Execution. Collaborate with Account Teams to build robust, insight-driven sales strategies. Manage the full sales lifecycle including pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation with input from legal and commercial operations.

    • Cross-Team Collaboration. Work seamlessly with Technical Sales, Industry Strategy, and Marketing to design and execute impactful account-based campaigns. Partner with resellers and channel teams to expand Autodesk's reach and ensure smooth customer onboarding.

    • Forecasting & Reporting. Maintain accurate CRM data and deliver reliable forecasts to sales leadership. Share customer insights and industry trends with internal stakeholders to inform product and go-to-market strategies.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in complex PLM and PDM sales.

    • Proven success working with design and manufacturing clients in the DACH region.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead executive-level conversations and build strategic relationships.

    • Proven track record in pipeline development, account planning, and opportunity management using tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.

    • Experience collaborating in matrixed, multi-stakeholder environments and working with reseller or partner networks.

    • High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and ownership.

    • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on business value creation.

    • Business proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Autodesk solutions, particularly PLM (Fusion Manage) and PDM (Vault) or comparable tools from other vendors, ideally in SaaS or cloud-based environments.

    • Understanding of digital transformation challenges in manufacturing industries.

    • Familiarity with value-based selling methodologies and financial modeling (ROI, TCO, NPV).

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
