    Responsibilities

    • Setup vision and technical strategy to drive impactful business outcomes

    • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of full-stack engineers.

    • Set clear expectations and foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment

    • Hire, manage, and develop a professional staff of engineers to set up a new team

    • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to shape the team's roadmap

    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge sharing

    • Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management on software project development and capabilities

    • Identify efficiency opportunities through automation, engineering, and process improvements

    • Ensure high software engineering standards, including efficiency, quality, security, and resiliency

    • Plan, execute, and ensure the success of complex technical projects

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BE/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred)

    • 10+ years of hands-on technical leadership and 5+ years of people management experience

    • Experience in taking an idea and turning it into impactful products

    • Proficiency in recruiting, organizing, and motivating teams

    • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

    • Strong knowledge of cloud service platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)

    • Strong experience in technologies, such as ReactJS and NodeJS.

    • Experience with scrum and agile development processes and methodologies

    • Proactive, quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skills

    • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issues
