    Position summary

    ders, and other teams to understand data requirements of the organisation and set up guidelines and processes for stakeholders

    • Define cost attribution, optimization, and monitoring strategies for the data platform

    • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database objects

    • Monitor and optimize data lake and data warehouse performance, ensuring high availability and reliability

    • Stay up to date with the latest developments in data platforms and related technologies

    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

    • 5+ years of experience in Data Platform engineering

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data lake and data warehouse

    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Data Warehouse such as Snowflake

    • Experience with provisioning and maintenance of Spark, Presto, Kubernetes clusters

    • Experience in extending data platform functionalities in line with open table formats like Iceberg, metadata stores like HMS, GDC etc

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Snowflake Experience

    • Experience with coding languages such as Python

    • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker

    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
