    Position summary

    is team, you will play a key role in strengthening the overall quality posture of our applications, reducing manual effort, and accelerating delivery through intelligent automation, all while directly contributing to improved customer experience and agent efficiency.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools to support various testing phases, such as unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing

    • You will collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to understand requirements and identify critical test scenarios

    • Integrate test automation suites into the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines to ensure regular and efficient testing

    • You will participate in the development of test plans and strategies, considering various testing types, test data requirements, and test environments

    • You will assist in defining and implementing test methodologies, processes, and best practices to achieve high test coverage and deliver reliable software

    • Execute automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure compliance with specifications

    • Analyse test results, investigate issues, and work with the development team to prioritise and address identified defects

    • Generate comprehensive test reports and document test results for stakeholders, including clear bug reports and status updates

    • Continuously enhance and optimise the test automation frameworks, tools, and processes to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness

    • Actively participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and provide feedback to team members to promote a culture of quality

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure a shared understanding of testing goals and objectives

    • Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks effectively to project stakeholders and management

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field

    • Strong programming skills, preferably in languages like JavaScript, Java

    • 6 or more years of experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks like cucumber bdd or test ng

    • 6 or more years of experience in web browser automation and testing using Playwright, Selenium

    • Familiarity with end-to-end testing like UI/UX, API, integration, performance and stress testing

    • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices

    • Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Working knowledge on test case management tools like TestRail etc and framework like cucumber

    • Working knowledge in using GIT for version control and logging defects

    • Experience in working in AWS services like code build and code pipeline

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
