    Position summary

    mous workflows and IoT-enabled environments

    • Connect and test data streams using Tandem Connect and other protocols like MTConnect and OPC UA to support data flow into digital twins

    • Collaborate with industry partners to deliver innovative robotic solutions, including turnkey and custom programming for construction, manufacturing, and industrial automation

    • Support CNC programming, digital fabrication workflows, and advanced manufacturing techniques to enable precise automation.

    • Drive innovation using the robotics hardware at the Boston Technology Center, which includes industrial, collaborative, and mobile robots

    • Contribute to developing the Digital Twin of the Autodesk Technology Centers

    • Support maintenance and daily operations of the Boston Technology Center

    • Promote safety for staff, researchers, and visitors

    • Provide robotics expertise and training to workshop users from research, product, and resident teams

    • Foster collaborations with leading organizations in the Boston area

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Experience with industrial robots (e.g., ABB, KUKA, FANUC)

    • Experience with collaborative robots (e.g., UR10, Universal Robots)

    • Knowledge of IoT device protocols such as MQTT, MTConnect, and OPC UA

    • Comfortable in a fast-paced prototyping environment with CNC equipment

    • Adaptable and committed to continuous learning

    • Strong communication skills, including customer interaction

    • Minimum 5 years in robotics or a related engineering field

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

    • Experience working in facilities managing industrial equipment and engaging with customers

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $85,400 and $147,400. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
