Responsibilities
Understand and document requirements to produce repeatable solutions
Document architecture and implementation process to deploy solutions
Provide technical leadership within the organisation by creating and reviewing high-quality architecture designs, providing technical solutions and leading technical discussions
Work with partner's business and technical team to understand requirements, design solutions using best practices
Work with product managers, user experience designers, tech leads, etc. to translate our needs and assess opportunities by evaluating technical feasibility and translate it to well-documented engineering solutions
Ensure the solution implementations achieve the desired quality attributes, such as performance and optimization, scalability, extensibility, security, and resiliency
Create Technology White papers for customers to adopt Autodesk Cloud solutions
Collaborate with the broader architecture community to ensure that their solutions align with target architectures and technology roadmaps
Evaluate design approaches, make architectural recommendations, and implement improvements to adoption strategies
Present "point of view" on implementation roadmap to multiple types of team members
Develop "reference architectures" and promote re-use in implementing Autodesk technologies
Be an "Advisor" to Autodesk partners and consultants to guide them to success
Minimum Qualifications
Experience working on large-scale, customer-facing, web and cloud applications
Strong .NET skills. Our language of choice on the server-side is .NET
You should understand object-oriented design and at least one modern backend framework
You have written clean, testable code
Candidate have implemented applications in Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure (preferred)
You have Architected solutions to integrate workflow from traditional desktop to cloud applications
You have practical experience in creating data model for popular database platforms like Microsoft SQL Server , NOSQL databases
Practical experience building RESTful web services
Hands-on experience in JavaScript
Experience with UI frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, AngularJS, BackboneJS, jQuery, etc.)
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field
5+ years of software engineering experience with relevant BS degree, or 3+ years with advanced degree
Preferred Qualifications
Strong experience with Amazon Web Services OR Azure
Experience in solutions in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Industry
Knowledge of or Certified in Architecture Assessment Methods like TOGAF
Document architecture using ArchiMate notational language
Presented and acted as "advisor" to stakeholders in past job history
Experience with Autodesk Technologies in AEC or Manufacturing Industry
Passionate for open source technologies
