    Position summary

    Provide insight, feedback, and recommendations to senior management regarding the development, capabilities, and potential of current and future software projects

    • Understands the frontend technology stack, comes up with design and codes on needs basis

    • Aid in the design and building of solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applications

    • Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects

    • Identify efficiency opportunities through automation, engineering, and process

    • Work closely with technical leads, product managers, and others to drive towards a common vision

    • Provide insightful leadership to achieve a high software engineering standard, including efficiency, quality, security, resiliency, and other best practices

    • Hire, manage, and develop a professional staff of engineers

    • Collaborate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholders

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BE/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred)

    • 8+ years of relevant industry experience, with 5+ years of hands-on technical leadership and 2+ years of people management experience

    • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

    • Experience in designing and delivering complex engineering solutions.

    • Strong hands-on experience with Full stack technologies, such as Java, SpringBoot, React.JS, Angular.JS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Restful and GraphQL API.

    • Strong knowledge and hand on experience of cloud service platforms such as AWS

    • Good understanding of backend technologies like data streaming, data storage and data transmission.

    • Experience with scrum and agile development processes and methodologies

    • Proactive, and quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skills

    • Innovative and collaborative with experience managing team members in multiple time zones.

    • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issues

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $145,800 and $235,950. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
