onsibilities**
Grow new and expansion business within a list of strategic accounts by focusing on value for customers and Autodesk
Leverage excellent sales acumen to work with customer executives to uncover customer outcomes that could be helped with our solutions
You will negotiate deals and contracts at different levels within the targeted account, sometimes alongside channel partners
Build relationships and collaborate with other Autodesk teams and channel partners to lead an outstanding customer experience
You will develop account plans with many team members, including marketing, technical sales, and customer success.
Navigate and work through internal processes and solve complex customer situations
Use financial acumen and value selling to position solutions as a trusted business advisor for customers
Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities across a wide array of time demands
You will deliver an accurate weekly, monthly & quarterly sales forecasts
Require knowledge and experience such that the incumbent can understand the full range of relevant principles, practices, and practical applications within their discipline
Solve complex problems of diverse scope by taking a new perspective on existing solutions and applying knowledge of best practices in practical situations
Use data analysis, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action. Apply creativity in recommending variations in approach
Work independently, with close guidance given at critical points. May begin to act as a mentor or resource for colleagues with less experience
A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career oriented, journey-level position. Has a complete knowledge of company products and services
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
Responsible for selling the company's products or services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience including selling complex technology solutions, Account-based selling, and large multi-solution sales
Experience in exceeding quota in a structured, disciplined sales environment that includes strategic and collaborative/team selling
Experience engaging with executive-level personas to influence strategic outcomes
Strategic account planning and research to understand how Autodesk solutions align with our goals
Accurately forecast and report on account activity
Highly proficient in Salesforce.com
Experience using consultative sales methodology techniques like Challenger Selling or Sense Making Selling
Manage difficult situations while keeping a positive, mindset to persevere toward goals

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $131,300 and $189,970. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
