    Position summary

    unterparts in the product development teams to ensure that our platform is carefully designed to meet the growing needs of our customers.

    We are looking for an innovative experience designer with web, desktop and mobile experience and experience with creating the best ideas and telling the best stories of their kind. You will report to the Manager, Platform XD in Pune, India, and you will work with your local team and with a global team of designers and stakeholders located in the US, China, Australia and India to help develop the design of our Platform frameworks, systems, workflows, and components.

    This is a hybrid position in Pune.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Design elegant user-centric experiences that work across browser, native mobile app and desktop clients

    • Define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, and visual design.

    • Build functional prototypes to validate your designs

    • Participate in user research and testing

    • Help maintain visual and brand consistency across all products

    • Collaborate with team members to translate our goals into unique platform experiences

    • Understand the technology and features of the groups you are assigned and learn from others

    • Independently conduct solution validation and incorporate insights into design decisions to fulfil user and our needs

    • Help define the vision and execution of solving user problems through the user experience

    • Communicate the results of UX activities with a point of view to the UX department, partners with your groups, and other interested team members using clear language that simplifies complexity

    • Identify both small and large usability issues within your groups and help influence your Product Manager to prioritise them

    • Lead iteration of design work within the validation track for your groups.

    • Contribute to the Design Systems, help determine whether components are single-use or multi-use, and provide recommendations to designers regarding new component requests

    • Participate in Design Reviews and model best practices for giving and receiving feedback

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3+ years relevant commercial experience

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

    • Current portfolio of commercial UX project work

    Preferred Qualifications

    • You can convey design ideas by sketches, storyboards, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations

    • You are familiar with Figma

    • You are a full-stack designer; you work from concept to final pixel

    • You are an experienced storyteller and conceptor with experience working in a diverse environment to develop concepts that deliver our results

    • You have not just UX design skills but the ability to implement strategic and conceptual thinking

    • Your work shows high-quality design work that also tells a story that you are a deep design thinker

    • Familiarity with customer research methods, including interviewing, contextual inquiry, usability testing

    • Visualize and prototype intended solutions at several levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to technical documents and diagrams
