Application Solution Architect

nable customer technical proposals based on advanced knowledge of the IT industry and the geography which you are assigned. You will be a technical counterpart to the Business Developers and Account Leaders (ACALs), and support sales by providing technical expertise, acting as a customer interface to Avanade technology solutions, offerings, and technical capabilities during Avanade's sales process (DEEPR). Additionally, you will have a customer-focused mindset and understand how to translate customer needs into technical solutions. Overall, you will develop a network of customer relationships, and meet with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements.

Skills and experiences

Your technical and non-technical skills will include:

• Solution design based on the Microsoft platforms & third-party solutions.

• Delivery background and technology consulting experience, including SDLC experience.

• Strong ability to develop customer relationships.

• Ability to articulate the business value and benefits of modern application solutions.

• Experience in leading and facilitating workshops, design sessions, and presentations with customers and partners.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels and functions.

• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex and ambiguous scenarios.

• Engage with customers to understand their business needs and challenges and map them to Application Solutions and Microsoft technology, such as Azure.

• Design and deliver application modernization solutions that align with customer goals and industry best practices.

• Continuously learn and update skills on the latest technologies and trends in the application modernization domain.

• Deep technical experience as a key contributor in the field of .NET/Java development and other common languages, Microservices architectures, Hyperscale cloud AZURE and/or AWS, DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.

• Experience in designing application architectures according to modern paradigms (e.g. DDD, BFF, Distributed Applications).

• At least 2 years in the role of Application/Technical Architect.

What you'll do

As a link between sales and consulting, you will:

• Work with the Business Developers and Account Leaders as a technical expert and architect to contribute to the development and execution of solutions.

• Guide customer through the discovery process to develop a sustainable and innovative technical solution that balances customer and Avanade requirements.

• Support all phases of the Avanade's sales process (DEEPR) sales process.

• Develop technical value propositions that address customer needs and positively differentiate Avanade.

• Build technical relationships with customer IT, and map customer business and technology challenges into Avanade solutions.

• Work with the opportunity owner and SA/Practice to define initial vision, scope, approach and estimation for technical aspects of proposal development activities.

• Support the negotiation and contracting process through balancing scope, resources, and milestone requirements.

• Contribute to offering development infusing technology innovation and market expertise.
