Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Position Summary
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for the tracking and reporting of End of Service Life (EOSL)/Not Permitted Technology (NPT) infrastructure and application products supporting the Employee Experience Technology and Data Management Technology portfolios. They communicate remediation solutions with partners and track efforts to committed remediation dates. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to take a bigger view of NPT, to look for correlations of products, and bring a holistic view to NPT. For example recognizing when the remediation of certain key components will have extended impact since it will cover other product remediation.
Responsibilities:
Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
Required Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in project management
3+ years' experience in infrastructure, software engineering and/or development
Must have a wide breadth of experience with software / infrastructure, engineering, development knowledge
Proven ability to work independently, multi task and effectively work in a complex environment with a global team structure
Must have experience in requirement gathering, analysis by working closely with stakeholder teams, users etc.
Experience with Project estimation to provide road map on overall work completion
Experience with Resource management to allocate tasks and build traceability to track progress
Must exhibit technical leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical
Key skills include consulting skills and conflict resolution, ability to apply both broad technical expertise and business knowledge to work across organizational structures to meet customer needs, and strong communications/presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience with Microsoft Project, Project plan creation and management
