Job Description:
This job is responsible for performing commercial real estate credit analysis, preparing supporting deal justification, and closing credit facilities. Key responsibilities include underwriting aspects of real estate credit transaction (e.g., construction loan, term loan, revolving credit facility) for all product types, due diligence processes, performing material modifications to existing facilities, and advising the portfolio/coverage teams on any post-closing credit actions as needed. Job expectations may include driving operational excellence and influencing leaders, peers, and clients.
Responsibilities:
Leads the loan underwriting for Real Estate Commercial Banking clients, including term debt, lines of credit, construction and bridge loan opportunities.
Performs the requisite due diligence once a credit opportunity is mandated, preparing the approval request documents, receiving final loan approval on a timely basis, and participating in the loan closing process.
Collaborates with the client, relationship coverage team, and product partners, as applicable, to facilitate timely, client-centric loan closings. Occasional travel for client meetings and project tours also required.
Leads the end-to-end process for loan modifications and extensions on existing loans including structuring, due diligence, approval, and closing.
Completes Scheduled Exposure Reviews (SERs) and Risk Rating Scorecards for adversely risk rated loans. Underwriter then presents SER at quarterly SER meetings.

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of Commercial Real Estate Credit experience.
Experience analyzing and interpreting commercial real estate financial statements.
Must have financial modeling experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in fi nance, accounting or related major
5+ years of Commercial Real Estate industry and Enterprise Credit experience
