We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to join the team and help automate infrastructure operations using GoLang. This role will focus on building tools, automation, and self-service capabilities to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

The successful candidate should possess strong GoLang programming skills, a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure, and experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). They should be proactive, collaborative, and eager to optimize cloud operations through scalable, reliable automation solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, or an advanced degree with no prior experience. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Strong programming skills in GoLang (or demonstrated ability to learn GoLang if experienced in similar languages).
• Understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, etc.).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. San Jose pay range

$126,500-$151,800 USD

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is noted below for our office location in San Jose, CA. This role is eligible to participate in BILL's sales incentive and equity plans. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

San Jose pay range

$126,500-$151,800 USD
