    Position summary

    The AE is directly responsible for developing a plan and executing against weekly, monthly, and quarterly engagement opportunities to generate pipeline, and ultimately delivering against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

    This is a truly unique opportunity to be part of our Corporate Impact team that helps companies affect social change by delivering community engagement software solutions that deliver measurable and data-driven results. You will be responsible for selling EVERFI financial education and community engagement solutions that help companies "bridge the learning gap" for K-12 and adult learners in their communities.

    What you'll do

    • Master the EVERFI solutions and competitive differentiation, masterfully story tell around the need and impact of the solutions, and maintain knowledge on new solutions and updated value propositions

    • Meet and exceed sales goals in an assigned set of prospect and existing customer institutions

    • Develop sales plans to effectively and efficiently target and engage with institutions within assigned territory, leveraging short- and long-term selling strategies within these accounts to hit quotas

    • Establish a cadence of activity and engagement with prospects that can align against pipeline generation goals and monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs

    • Continuously prospect and set up discovery meetings to achieve monthly sales meeting and pipeline creation goals as communicated by management

    • Align go-to-market strategies with digital, in-person, and other marketing-led campaigns to generate prospect engagement opportunities

    • Engage and influence decision-makers in consultative, problem first discussions to align their needs with EVERFI solutions and drive forward the sales process

    • Run an effective sales process that leverages sales best practices and evaluation plan tools to drive mutual alignment to decision dates and close plan timing

    • Manage prospect's needs analysis and identify accurate proposal options including pricing

    • Accurately forecast pipeline for in-month and in-quarter quota attainment

    • Continually keep opportunities and account records up to date in our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

    • Independently request support from EVERFIs leadership team and subject matter experts as needed to support sales and partnership opportunities

    • Provide professional and helpful transitions to Customer Success team to ensure successful partnerships

    • Attend industry focused conferences and other forums as needed to drive new pipeline opportunities

    • Other job-related duties as assigned

    What you'll bring

    • A minimum of 4-6 years commercial SaaS selling experience, with 2-years of experience selling to midsize and larger Enterprise organizations

    • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals with quotas ranging from $750K-$1M+

    • Experience navigating $50K-$300K+ ACV (Average Contract Value) deals

    • Knowledge of or experience working in financial institutions or healthcare organizations is a plus

    • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to forecast and track activities and opportunities, Salesforce preferred

    • Consultative selling skills

    • Strong written skills and ability to effectively present to individuals and groups and create rapport and engagement

    • Partner with Sales Development Representatives to prospect and identify strong opportunities in assigned territory and conduct proactive outreach

    • Exceptionally detail-oriented

    • Strong urgency creation, negotiation, and objection handling skills

    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

    • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed

    The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $165,600.00 to $235,100.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
