We're looking for proactive, driven school leavers who are eager to obtain practical experience and advance their careers. The skills required to be a successful apprentice at BlackRock include:

Education
Applications are encouraged from school leavers of all academic backgrounds.
London: Candidates will need a minimum of grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and to have achieved a minimum of grade C in three A-levels (or equivalent e.g. BTEC Nationals) by September 2026.
Edinburgh: Candidates will need a pass in National 5 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and have completed three Highers (or equivalent) by September 2026
To be eligible, you must not have previously completed an Bachelor's or Master's degree in any subject.
Right to work
To be enrolled in the apprenticeship you must:
Be a UK citizen or have proof of your right to work in the UK.
Have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years or more.
If you are not a UK or EEA citizen, you must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
Unfortunately, we're unable to provide visa sponsorship for our Apprenticeship Programme.
Application process
To apply, you will need to complete an online application form and submit your CV.
After submitting your application, you will be invited to complete a pre-interview assessment consisting of 3 questions that you have to record a video response to. You have up to five days to submit your pre-interview assessment; if you fail to do so, your application will be automatically withdrawn.
If successful at the pre-interview assessment, you will be invited to attend a virtual interview with the hiring team.
The final stage will be an assessment centre at our office where you'll be able to meet our current apprentices, attend further interviews and take part in a group exercise.
