We are seeking a motivated individual to join the SEA Marketing team, based in Singapore. The individual will help develop and execute marketing strategies to support the commercial goals and strategic priorities of BlackRock's wealth (retail and private banks) and institutional businesses in Singapore and Southeast Asia. This person will support the planning and implementation of marketing initiatives across a range of marketing disciplines, including fund launches, product promotion campaigns, events, literature, digital marketing (email, web publishing) and content marketing, working closely with regional and central marketing teams (global events, digital marketing etc.) to deliver these activities.
Responsibilities:
Partner closely with the client business and product teams in Southeast Asia to execute effective marketing strategies
Create compelling marketing collaterals and product content such as emails, videos, web, and social media content
Maintain existing fund marketing materials from flyers, brochures to webpages
Support the planning and production of marketing campaigns through above and below-the-line strategies from ideation to execution, including managing external agencies and internal partners
Plan and execute client events, both independently and in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies, from inception, design, content, logistics to post-event follow-up and tracking
Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the Singapore BlackRock website, including developing new content, tracking and optimizing performance through improving user experience, SEO, paid search and/or digital marketing campaigns
Update and track marketing budget versus actual spend in an efficient and responsible manner
Build strong relationships and partner with internal stakeholders and regional specialist teams within the firm including APAC Marketing, Global Creative, Corporate Communications, Client Business, Client Product Strategy, Investment team, Legal and Compliance and other business functions as appropriate
Support the analysis of impact of marketing activities, that informs future marketing campaigns, and optimize marketing effectiveness across channels
Core Skills:
Good understanding of the industry including investment products, client segments and the competitor landscape in Singapore and SEA, in particular the intermediary market and wealth management channels
Highly organized self-starter with a commitment to innovation and excellence who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Strong ownership and project management skills, including an ability to move projects forward
Strong team player, ability to collaborate credibly and leverage the firm's resources locally as well as globally
Qualifications:
Associate level with at least 5 years of experience, including proven marketing and product strategy expertise within the financial services industry; experience in asset management is highly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
BA/BS required
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CMS, email marketing, analytics) is a plus
