    Position summary

    ual will head up all planning and coordinating activities across the full range of marketing disciplines, including digital, media, direct marketing, events, client partnerships and literature, working in close collaboration with the PR partner on the ground.

    The successful candidate should be able to identify issues, challenges, problems and opportunities on the customer side and turn them into relevant, integrated marketing campaigns. Stakeholder management is a key part of this role as well as ensuring that best in class marketing campaigns developed across BlackRock globally are being leveraged and implemented timely and effectively in the local market. The position will report to BlackRock's Head of Marketing for Continental Europe.

    Key responsibilities

    • Develop and implement the local marketing and related communications strategy to effectively target key segments, including the development and execution of activities across the full range of marketing disciplines (web, content, advertising, direct marketing, events, sponsorship) and coordinate these with the PR team

    • Develop co-marketing programmes with key clients, including online campaigns, content, events, trainings, content, PR, etc.

    • Work closely and effectively with the European marketing team, maintaining local agency relationships and liaising with key stakeholders within BlackRock's wealth & ETF and Index Investment businesses (Sales, Product and Compliance) as well as with the local business development team to manage projects from beginning to end

    • Implement centrally developed marketing campaigns and collateral and adapt them for the local market (including managing digital campaigns, content and translations)

    • Assume responsibility for the quality of marketing initiatives for FraBeLux

    • Provide a full understanding of the local investment markets to ensure successful positioning and marketing of investment products and solutions

    • Set and manage budgets and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programmes

    • Contribute as a member of the local Executive Committee

    • Coordinate activities and ideas with the wider marketing team & potentially take on regional responsibilities

    • Engage with competitor and client marketing teams to stay up to date and report back to the business

    Experience/qualifications

    • Degree in Marketing, Business Studies or Economics or a similar professional qualification

    • 10+ years' marketing experience, preferably in the financial services industry (asset management, banking or consultancy) in France, Belgium or Luxembourg

    • Native speaker of French, excellent level of spoken and written English, Dutch/Flemish would be a plus

    • At least four years' experience in developing and implementing fully integrated marketing campaigns and managing external agency partners

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, plus the ability to write short-form content, including copy for e-mails and subject lines, online content, articles, etc.

    • Good product and investment knowledge

    • Understanding of wealth and institutional client segments

    • Good understanding of local financial media landscape

    • Experience in various channels of the communication and marketing field with focus on digital and social media

    • Experience in an international environment or a period spent working overseas would be a plus
