    Position summary

    (like regulatory docs) to deliver automated pipelines that give our org the data it needs.

    • Use cutting-edge AI/ML models and both new and classic tech patterns to build scalable and reusable solutions for data extraction challenges.

    • Build an extensible platform that democratizes data ingestion and extraction, making it easy for everyone in the biz and our customers to use.

    • Own the tech architectures, design principles, and app governance, while managing diverse, global teams of engineers, data scientists, and other tech pros.

    • Collaborate with team members across different offices and countries.

    • Provide top-notch technical input during team discussions on software design and implementation.

    • Help junior team members grow in their careers.

    What You Need:

    • B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 12+ years of professional experience.

    • Ability to clearly explain tech strategy and objectives.

    • Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming in Java and Python.

    • Experience designing and building APIs and Microservices.

    • Strong experience with Open-Source tech stack (Spring/SpringBoot, Apache Solr, Protocol Buffers, LangChain, Docker).

    • Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases (like Apache Cassandra).

    • Experience working in Agile Development Teams.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new concepts.

    • Great interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Experience mentoring junior software engineers.

    Good to have:

    • Experience with cloud-native development (Kubernetes, Docker) and Cloud Platforms like Microsoft Azure.

    • Familiarity with open-source publish-subscribe frameworks like Apache Kafka.

    • Exposure to Large Language Models (OpenAI LLMs), AI app development frameworks, vector databases, and NLP.

    • Domain expertise in finance and financial services.
