    Position summary

Team members must be self-starters who are passionate about continuous improvement and who will productively collaborate to assess and respectfully challenge the status quo on an ongoing basis. Success is evaluated through a track record of proposing, influencing and executing constructive and innovative solutions that deliver against Finance and business partner objectives. The team works in partnership to find creative ways to unlock capacity to enable finance colleagues to do their best work. This Associate - Project Manager role will focus on finance transformation management & help drive strategic projects aimed at optimizing finance processes and implementing new financial systems or leading digital transformations.

    Your Responsibilities

    Project Management

    • Actively manage initiative request prioritization, balancing stakeholder demand with resource availability

    • Provide strategic direction and operating framework for prioritized initiatives

    • Partner with key project stakeholders to define project scope and primary objectives based on business outcome expectations

    • Guide team through efficient business analysis to develop smart and agile project roadmaps with appropriate sprint/milestone timelines based on a solid understanding of required outcomes, execution dependencies and risks, and resource requirements aligned across relevant parties

    • Actively lead project execution teams, balancing progress with mitigated risk across multiple concurrent initiatives and ensuring key deliverables are produced within expected timelines and budgets

    • Develop and oversee timely stakeholder reporting of project KPIs/KRIs

    • Experience in identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks

    Communication

    • Communicate clearly with executive presence and ability to make complex concepts simple and relatable to day-to-day stakeholder experiences

    • Collaborate in a thoughtful and empathetic manner, maintaining focus on outcome delivery within timeline expectations

    • Influence partners to drive rapid consensus, champion change and inspire adoption across organization

    • Synthesize data, connecting dots to provide context and insight

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management or driving transformational projects in Financial sector

    • Excellent skills in managing and aligning stakeholders across finance, technology, and executive teams

    • Proven track record of driving strategic transformation at the enterprise level

    • Excellent project management skills covering project inception through execution, implementation and closeout

    • Strong Knowledge of Finance and Accounting Principles

    • ERP Cloud (Oracle/SAP/Workday) experience preferred

    • Strong business and data analysis skills

    • Superior organizational skills; ability to multi-task and flex with changing priorities

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear messages and the acumen to lead discussions with senior leaders

    • PMP certified & Experience with Microsoft office suite. Smartsheet experience is a plus.
